How to Join PAF as Airmen
You can Join PAF as Airmen, Airwomen (Female Medical Assistant only), Education Instructor and Religious Teachers.Airmen category includes Aero Tech, Aero Support, Provost, Ground Combater, PF & DIs, MTD, Musician. Airwomen category only includes (Female Medical Assistant)
Religious Teacher and Education Instructors (Graduation in relevant subject is required).
Following are the Academic and detailed criteria for selection in PAF after matric:
Aero Technician (Associate Engineer):

- Candidates having star on one of the subjects (Urdu, Biology, Pak Studies, Islamic Studies) will be allowed to sit in the test for induction.

- After successful completion of training, they will be awarded the rank of Chief Technician.
- After one year of successful service, they will be promoted to Warrant Officer.
What is the age limit to Join as an Education Instructor?
The age limit for joining PAF as Education Instructor is 28 Years. However, One Year age relaxation has been granted to all candidates.
What is the Qualification to Join PAF as an Education Instructor?
You can join PAF after B.A/B.Sc as Instructor.
Can a candidate with a simple BA is eligible?
A candidate with a BA (General) can apply for Education Instructor in English subjects fill other requirements.
Join PAF as Education Instructor requirements:
A Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and his age should be 29 years.
Candidate should have scored 45% marks in the relevant subjects.
What is the age limit for Religious Teachers?
The age limit for Religious Teachers is 25 to 35 Years. Whereas, candidates having Fazil Darse Nizami with Matric are also eligible.
When Vacancies are Advertised for Airmen?
Airmen vacancies are advertised once a year in August.
Should I join any academy for Airmen Selection?
No, you do not need to join any academy for preparation of Airmen Test. Instead, you can prepare with the help of books like Super Excellence Intelligence Test and Dogar’s Unique Airmen Guide.
